A Light In The Dark - BB - 07/09/09 - Part 2

Therion
fought a grueling match, consumed by the thoughts of gathering the
information he has sought for what seems his whole life. He heads to
the locker room, gathers his gear, and heads to the address on the
paper Penny gave him.

Therion: Finally I can get some answers. I must go now, they are waiting for me at the orphange.
*
Therion
gets into his car, and travels to the address. He pulls up in front of
a magnificent orphange. A place that any child that did not have a home
would want to be, as they would have a feeling of home, and love here.
Therion is taken aback by the sight, but he must remain focused. He
walks up to the door where the head of the orphange is awaiting him.

Therion: Thank you so much for allowing me to come here, and search for the answers I have longed for.
*
Orphange Director:
You are welcome my son, I am a firm believer in finding answers to
questions that have plagued you for your whole life. Follow me this
way, I will show you where we have our records.
*
Therion
follows the director passing by rooms of children filled with
laughther, love, and just a sense of home. It reminds him of the time
when he was a child, and how much he loved being a kid, until he was
left by his father. The sense of happiness turned to that of anger and
hatred. They finally reached the door that lead to the basment.
*
Orphange Director:
Just through this door is the basement, once down there follow the hall
to the end. The room on the right will say Records, go in there. I have
placed the box on the desk that has the answers to your questions. Good
luck, and may this finally bring your quest to a close.

Therion: I am not sure what to say, other than, thank you. You have no idea what this means to me, and I cannot thank you enough.

Orphange Director: I know my son, now go and get the answers you have waited for so long to get.

Therion
shakes the Directors hand, takes a deep breath, and heads through the
door. He heads down the stairs, and follows the long hallway to the
room that says Records on the door. His heart is pounding through his
chest, a cold sweat has come across his forehead, and a chill runs down
his spine.

Therion: This is it, here goes nothing, and everything.

Therion
opens the door, and looks into the room. Just as the director said
there sat a box on the desk. Therion waits for a moment to catch his
breath. He lifts the top off of the box, and peers inside. After
grabbing a few pieces of paper, and reading them throughly, he drops
the papers on the floor, as a horrible chill runs through his body.

Therion:...NO...It cannot be true...I...I cannot believe this...
*
Therion
slams everything back into the box, everything but a picture. He puts
the picture into his pocket and storms out of the room, back up the
stairs, out of the orphange and back into his car. He sits there for a
while trying to digest all that he has seen.

Therion:
This just cannot be, I cannot believe this. I must go home and digest
all that I have read and seen. For next week I shall confront this
person, this monster, my father....
